HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU WASH YOUR BEDDING?
The number of times recommended to wash sheets, pillowcases and other bedding is primarily dependent on the use and amount of contact with our body.
Sheets and Pillowcases

It is quite important to know how often to wash your sheets as we do not sleep alone in our beds. We settle in at night with microscopic dust mites. Washing your sheets regularly reduces the appeal of dust mites to want to live in your sheets which if they do makes the sheets unpleasant for humans.
A good idea is to wash your sheets once a week or every two weeks if you or any member of your family is feeling unwell, be sure to wash your sheets daily or change the pillowcases daily.
Pillows

If you make use of pillow protectors and under your pillowcases, you’d probably need to just wash your pillows three times a year. Your pillow protectors, however, should be unzipped and washed once a month.
If however, you don’t use pillow protectors, then you should wash your pillows monthly or once every other month.
Duvet Covers

Unless something spills on your duvet, you’d only need to wash it once or twice a year. The duvet cover can be washed weekly.
If there is no separate cover for the duvet, then you have to wash the entire duvet every week and whenever there is a spill or stain.
